We know that being involved in a lawsuit whether suing or having to defend against one can be very stressful. We are not condescending or patronizing. Rather, we treat our clients with respect and honesty. We sit with them when we are at court, and we take our responsibility as their counselor and advocate seriously. Our goal is to treat every client as we would want to be treated.
We work closely with our clients from intake through to the completion of any case we take on. We work hard to educate our clients about the important issues in their case so they can make informed decisions. We keep them updated on the progress of the case, not only because they are entitled to being kept in the loop because they’re footing the bill, but also because our experience has taught us that clients are an indispensable part of a winning team.
We also believe that it usually serves the interests of our clients to settle cases. Settlements are generally more cost-effective; they provide our clients with a speedy recovery or resolution of the dispute, and allow them to move on with their lives or business. In fact, we have been able to obtain fair or favorable settlements for a majority of the cases we have handled. We pride ourselves on working with other attorneys to resolve cases rather than being combative or obstinate at the expense of our clients.
Some situations, however, call for aggressive advocacy and require a trier of fact to make a decision. In such instances, we will not back down from conflict, and we are completely confident in our ability to represent the interests of our clients.

Our clientele has been diverse, from individuals in all lines of work, to companies in technology industries (such as computer hardware, software and semiconductor companies), venture capital firms, investors, officers, directors, distributors, retail businesses, arborists, food franchisees, dental clinics and law firms—just to name a few.
TYPES OF CASES WE HANDLE
The types of cases we take include:
- Commercial litigation, generally referring to a wide array of disputes or litigation between businesses or issues that a company may have to deal with, such as wage claims, breach of contract claims (collection),or employment discrimination.
- Corporate litigation, generally involving shareholder/Director disputes, breach of fiduciary duty claims, and derivative lawsuits.
- Family law, generally including divorces, legal separation, paternity proceedings, custody and visitation, child and spousal support, enforcement of judgment, setasides, property characterization and division and reimbursement claims.
- Intellectual property, including trademark, trade-secret misappropriation, copyright and patent infringement cases
- Tort litigation, including cases which involve allegations of negligence, fraud, unfair business practices, defamation, and other intentional torts.
